Famous art pieces from well-celebrated artists can cost more than a posh house in Paris or London.

Examples are the abstract painting No. 5, 1948 by Jackson Pollock that costs about 95 million pounds, Woman III by Willem de Kooning is worth 93 million pounds and the Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer costs about 91 million pounds. No wonder these masterpieces are insured for hundreds of millions of pounds against theft and damage.
